Transforming Small Spaces: Interior Design Case Study of Anveshana Clothing Centre by Lime Trunk

The process of maximizing small spaces within a budget comes with interesting challenges and strategic choices. In this case study, we explore how we turned a compact 300 square feet area into a chic designer haven by seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetics.

Efficiency in Material Selection: At Lime Trunk, we understand the importance of choosing materials that serve multiple purposes. Instead of complex treatments, we opted for a corrugated asbestos sheet as a partition wall, providing both texture and sturdy support. This innovative choice effectively divided the space between the stitching unit and the front experience center while adding a touch of flowing textile-inspired design.

Strategic Color Choices: Colors are integral to setting the ambiance of any space. We carefully selected neutral, warm tones like off-white wall paints and timeless wood accents to create an inviting atmosphere. These hues not only create an illusion of spaciousness but also serve as a muted backdrop, allowing the showcased clothing items to shine and capture attention.

Creative Upcycling: Incorporating upcycled furniture was a key aspect of our design philosophy. By repurposing old furniture pieces, we not only adhered to budget constraints but also infused the décor with a sense of individuality and character. The simplicity of the furniture choices ensures that the focus remains on the backdrop and the garments on display, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the boutique.
